NYC Plover Project

We are a group of New Yorkers, from the Rockaway Peninsula & beyond, coming together to protect the endangered Piping Plover that nest on our beaches.

Only a few hundred pairs nest in the entire state of New York each spring & summer. There are an estimated 8,000 Piping Plovers left in the world.

They need our help.
