Conflict Services Application

Animal Defense Partnership is proud to provide pro bono dispute resolution services to client organizations and their employees.  We look forward to learning more about you and how we might be able to help you.

These services are limited in type and scope and are offered when the matter is deemed appropriate for the conflict resolutions services we offer.  Two types of services are offered:  mediation and conflict coaching.  Both are provided by a professional mediator.

Mediation is a process in which a mediator brings together parties in dispute to resolve issues in a way that works for them.  Mediators are neutral - they do not impose solutions or take sides.  Rather, they will help you talk productively with each other and discuss options to resolve your dispute.

In conflict coaching, the mediator works with individuals to address conflicts that are undermining their ability to enjoyed a positive and productive workplace.  The mediator might offer different perspectives on the problem, help you to clarify your concerns, identify your role in the dispute, and discuss communication approaches that will make a conversation more productive.  The mediator will remain neutral and will not advocate for you or a particular outcome.  Rather, the mediator/coach focuses on an individual’s self-awareness, conflict dynamics and skill development.  Conflict coaching is done individually but may be combined with mediation.

If you believe a mediator/coach may be helpful in your situation, please complete the following confidential application. Our pro bono mediator will contact you as soon as possible. If you are seeking conflict coaching, the mediator will not contact your organization unless you give express permission to do so.
